This is one of the best places to work if you like psychiatry.
I work here and we provide awesome care for our clients.
I was there at FBC for a little over 2 weeks. I could have stayed longer to address medication issues, as I should have, because NOW I'm in Kansas City, and all the mental health services apparently suck. But while I was at FBC the staff was very attentive and professional, and my care was exemplary.
According to a few reviews, they did not find it to be the optimum place for your loved one. However, with the cutbacks in mental health funding, it is one of the few places available. That's just the way it is, considering the spending priorities of our political leaders have reduced funding for the mentally ill.
Excellent caring staff. Great place to begin your recovery journey.
